. . . . Meet our staff . . . .
SIMBA/ CEO
Nicknames: Simby, Simberton Wimberton, and Simber
Brought home in 2010 as a kitten, Simba was thought to be a female and was named Lilly. His name was changed immediately upon his neutering.
In his 14 years, Simba has never taken a day off from ruling the household. He has seen many other male cats come and go, but he has never wavered from dominating in a confident and gentle manner. He knows he is the Alpha and it radiates from him, naturally. You will find Simba in a variety of relaxing poses throughout the day when he's not grooming himself.
Simba likes tall grass, wild water, and taking evening strolls. He especially enjoys walking across the keyboard when work needs to be done and doesn't stop until he has your full attention. Once he has your attention, he stretches out for a long nap. He knows how to get what he wants and if he were a human, there would be a restraining order against him. Lucky for him, he's a cat!
SCAR/ Staff Supervisor
Nickname: Scarlton
Like Simba, Scar came to us as a rescue kitten and is also 14. His name seemed like a no-brainer. Scar couldn't care less who's in charge as long as he gets to eat, but he will check a cat if they get out of line! Scar is a cat of few needs, large, furry, and full of hairballs. Scar inherently loves children and all of the snuggles he can get, but when he's done, he's done.
Scar has spent most of his life as an emotional support animal, although it was never on paper- just in our hearts. He is a very loving boy, but can quickly turn to the dark side if he is not given what he wants in a timely manner. He is only patient up to a point and then he unleashes the hissing and claws.
Scar loves mildly warm or cool days and scratching things to assert his dominance. It's no problem though because in our office, we have cat scratchers that double as furniture!
Kitten/ Office Mascot/ Eye Candy
Kitten came to us from underneath a patio when she was just 7 weeks old. She is the runt of the litter, but makes up for it in personality. She is now 7 years old and keeps us on our toes! Kitten likes to chew on small objects and carry things in her mouth. She especially enjoys knocking things off of the counters and then watching to see what happens to them. Her favorite was a bottle of hot sauce when it hit the tile floor. She is essentially a toddler!
We love having Kitten around for inspiration and fun. She is the youth of this cat household and annoys her older cat roomies on the daily. She completes our Trinity of Cats.
